What We Do
The Holy Spirit, known in Greek as "Ἅγιον Πνεῦμα" (Hágion Pneûma), plays a vital role in the transformative mission of "Changed by Christ." This project is set to open a reentry house for women at 4919 S. Catherine Street, Plattsburgh, NY, in the fall of 2024. The Holy Spirit's guidance will be instrumental in providing peer-to-peer support and home case management for men and women in Clinton County. Through the Holy Spirit's influence, "Changed by Christ" aims to foster spiritual growth, healing, and empowerment among those reentering society, ensuring they receive the compassion and assistance they need to rebuild their lives.

Our Three Phase Approach
Phase One
In Phase One, our focus is on helping individuals obtain essential documents such as identification and driver's licenses. We also assist them in securing housing, accessing food, and receiving necessary treatment. This phase sets them on the right track towards rebuilding their lives.
Phase Two
As we move into Phase Two, we delve deeper into the journey of transformation. We provide counseling, mentoring, and vocational training opportunities to empower individuals to overcome personal and professional challenges. We believe in equipping them with the necessary skills and resources to reintegrate successfully.
Phase Three
Finally, Phase Three focuses on sustained support and community reintegration. We facilitate ongoing counseling, networking, and access to community resources to ensure individuals have a strong support system as they continue their journey towards a better life.
